The Signamax Managed Layer 2+ Industrial Switch is designed to operate in rugged environments with extreme temperature conditions. It is equipped with flexible port configuration to interface to multiple speeds over fiber optic cables and twisted-pair, with four 10/100BaseT/TX ports, four multimode 100BaseFX ports, plus two Gigabit SFP receptacles. This hardened managed switch has a compact, all-metal IP40 case, and functions at temperatures ranging from -40°F to 167°F (-40°C to 75°C).

This switch also supports rate control for individual port maximum bandwidth settings, for high-granularity network control. The Recover-Ring II™ capability allows redundant ring network recovery in <20 ms, making these ideal switches for perimeter security requirements. The easy implementation of resilient, high capacity networks will supply critical Security and Public Safety applications over Gigabit Ethernet copper and fiber backbones with a reliable and highly cost-effective package.
